I have used Givenchy Gentleman for years and athough in the last couple of years I tried some knock offs, they were always disappointing and lasted minutes if that.
I even went up to Grasse when I was in South of France to try some cheaper alternatives and one was not bad - but I used it only as an emergency supply.
However, last month I bought a bottle of Genuine Man Reserve.
It smells similar to Givenchy Gentleman - perhaps a little sweeter, but in the main I have tested it with my family (who buy me GG for me at Christmas etc) and they could barely distinguish between the two.
Although Givenchy have reduced the price a bit, Genuine Man is a third of the cheapest GG (at Boots).
My search is now over and I won’t be going back to Givenchy - Genuine Man excellent product in every front.

Fresh fragrance that isn't citrus bergamot dominant.
This is lovely stuff. I’m an Oud addict and it’s hard for me not to like it but this I really like. Laying with with Oud Hindi or Cambodian Oud is a great combo. Gets compliments too.

Great smelling perfume that lasts all day. Surprised me as it smelled like liquorice at start but melts into creamy, warm vanilla!
